Dreamy Lake Mary Wedding Day

Chelsea and Ben got married on the most gorgeous Fall Day in Lake Mary, Florida. The Lake Mary Events Center immediately stunned me with its gorgeous waterfront ceremony space, beautiful pillars and architecture, and dreamy photo ops in the wooded areas for some sunset portraits. If I could photograph a wedding here every weekend, just to take more sunset lakefront photos, I absolutely would.

Chelsea and Ben shared with me that they met in a connect group at their church the year prior. Just a few months later they were engaged and planning their wedding! To see their family and friends from each side come together to love on and celebrate them was a joy, and it’s one of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer. Their day was filled with so much love and connection with their family and friends. As with the majority of my couples I have the pleasure of working with, they want their wedding day documented with a focus on the connection and sweet moments of their loved ones, as they celebrate their love. Chelsea and Ben’s day was full of exactly that – from Ben and his groomsmen all joking around and helping each other get ready before the ceremony, to Chelsea’s dad smiling at her as he walked her down the aisle, to the touching speeches by family and friends – every part of their day felt like it was touched by love and warmth.

The last thing I want to touch on are these couple’s portraits! Chelsea wanted a slightly more editorial vibe for her bridal and couple’s portraits. Her vision definitely gave a more poised, elegant and purposeful approach, with a touch of romance. It was SO much fun bringing her vision come to life and I truly feel we nailed it. I’m obsessed with their wedding portraits – well, I’m obsessed with their whole wedding day – and I hope you are too!
