I’m a North Florida-based Wedding and Couples photographer. Since 2020, I’ve been all about capturing that 'carefree kinda love.' It’s important to me that your vibe, the essence of who you are, is captured on camera. I want you to look back on these photos with your honey and think “yes, this is SO us!”
Haley and David’s engagement session at Sand Key Park was such a dream. It’s officially my new favorite beach location and I’m suggesting it to all my couples who want a beach session on the Florida West Coast! Living in Florida for most of my life, I’ve seen plenty of beaches, but Sand Key has some gorgeous features I absolutely love. First, Sand Key is on the West Coast of Florida. As an East Coast Florida girl, it’s rare for me to experience a sunset on the beach. If you go to the first beach entrance at Sand Key and park at the very end of the parking lot near the intercoastal, you’ll find trees and tall, dreamy grasses leading you to the beach. Once you’re at the beach, you can’t miss the huge rocks on the far right that separate the beach from where the boats and ships enter. And of course, I already mentioned the sunset, but we truly had the warmest sunset that looked like fire in the sky on the day of their session.
Haley and David are such a sweet couple who met in college and now nearly 7 years later they get married this winter in St. Petersburg at Station House. For our session Haley had the cutest idea to bring a picnic basket and charcuterie board with champagne. Nothing like a champagne pop and some liquid courage to kick off your engagement session! When they booked with me, Haley shared that she really wanted the feel of the photos to be carefree and candid, while also showing their more sweet and tender side. Their love was tangible at the session and you could feel how much they absolutely love each other.
Stay tuned for their wedding day which will be on the blog in January 2024!
